Are Gitant and Lark included with Hawk?

They are separate standalone products on the public roadmap. When they ship, Hawk will integrate them with shared context.

What models will Hawk support?

Hawk is model agnostic — 11 gateways via Eyrie: Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini, Grok, OpenRouter, Z.AI, CanopyWave, OpenCode Go, Kimi, Xiaomi, and Ollama.

Is my code sent to the cloud?

The design is local-first — your code and API keys stay on your machine. Nest needs no account.

Question 5

How is this different from Cursor, Copilot, or Windsurf?

Those are editors with AI baked in. Hawk is a CLI agent that works with any editor — VS Code, Neovim, Zed, or anything else.

Do I need to install Hawk capabilities separately?

Accepted Answer

No — when Hawk ships, Eyrie, Trace, Tok, Yaad, Inspect, and Sight are intended to come integrated behind the Hawk CLI.
